Why Making Lt Gen Bikram Singh as a Chief of Army Staff

Only 15 more days to go for present Army Chief and Govt. has decided only to make Lt Gen. Bikram Singh as a Chief of Army Staff. I didn't understand why Supreme Power (Supreme Court and President) is not taking any serious action in this issue... It is known that, anonymous complaints have come up against the Eastern Army Commander Lt Gen Bikram Singh, of which some are made by MPs and ex-servicemen. One of the petitions accuses Lt Gen Bikram Singh of killing a civilian in Jammu and Kashmir in an operation calling him a foreign militant. Some allegations were more personal in nature, like, one MP has even written a letter to Prime Minister saying that Lt Gen Bikram Singh was unsuitable to take over as the Army Chief as his daughter-in-law was from Pakistan. Complaints also alleged that Lt Gen Bikram Singh failed to contain disciplinary breaches by soldiers on an African peacekeeping mission. Now the decision of making Lt Gen Bikram Singh as a Chief of Army Staff, may keep our country in trouble….. This is a matter of safety and security of our country, as well as to keep high Moral of our Brave Soldiers and Officers of Indian Army…. Our Govt. should think more and more about this serious matter… Jai Hind…..
